The next morning, we woke up early even though we’d gone to bed late. One of our friends suggested a joyride, but we struggled to start the motorcycle since the starter was broken. They asked me to try, but I was too shy, so I couldn’t get it going. Finally, my friend’s dad suggested that we just keep it running so we could head out.
The joyride was so much fun, and I forgot all about being tired. Kuya Joshua drove really fast, and I couldn’t help but shout out in excitement! We reached Villa Dominga in Angadanan, which was pretty far, but the fresh air felt amazing and was so refreshing. Unexpectedly, the motorcycle that was hard to start stalled, but when I tried, I actually got it going! That put us all at ease, and after our joyride, we went back home.
As soon as I got home, I fell right asleep—I finally felt the exhaustion once I was by myself.
